Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at allthatauss@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

All of our Pet/Companion puppies are $3,200, regardless of gender, color, or markings.

We do not charge more for specific colors, merles, eye colors, or gender.

All Pet/Companion puppies are sold with a strict Spay/Neuter Agreement and are not sold with breeding rights.

Yes. Once your puppy application has been reviewed and approved, a $300 non-refundable deposit is required to officially join our reservation list.

The $300 deposit is applied toward the total purchase price of your puppy.

Reservations and puppy selection order are determined on a first-come, first-served basis, based on when deposits are received. We are unable to hold a reservation spot without a deposit.

You are absolutely welcome to tell us your preferred gender, color, and markings, and we will always do our best to help you find the look you are hoping for. However, we do not place puppies based strictly on gender or color.

Temperament, personality, energy level, and compatibility with your family and lifestyle are our first priorities. We believe the puppy's personality will ultimately have a much greater impact on your life together than their color or gender.

If you have your heart set on a particular combination, you are always welcome to wait for a future litter to find the right puppy.

Our puppy selection process begins at approximately 4 weeks of age.

At that time, approved families are invited to meet the litter in reservation order. This gives you an opportunity to interact with the puppies and begin seeing their individual personalities rather than choosing a puppy based solely on photographs, gender, or coloring.

We are also there to help guide you through the process and share what we have observed about each puppy's developing personality and temperament.

Puppies cannot leave for their new homes before 8 weeks of age.

Our puppies typically remain with their mother and littermates until approximately 8–10 weeks old, depending on the individual litter and when they are fully weaned and ready for the transition to their new homes.

We will provide families with a more specific go-home date as the puppies get older.

No. We do not place puppies on cargo flights or ship them unaccompanied.

We require families to either pick up their puppy from us or arrange with us for personal delivery.

We understand that traveling to Long Island isn't possible for every family, so we are happy to personally hand-deliver your puppy when arrangements can be made. All travel-related expenses are the responsibility of the new owner.

Please contact us to discuss delivery options and availability.

Your puppy must be paid in full before leaving for their new home.

The $300 reservation deposit is applied toward the total purchase price.

We accept: Cash, Venmo, or Check

Payment arrangements and final balance information will be provided prior to your puppy's go-home date.

Yes, All All That Auss puppies have their tails docked within the first few days of life.

We do not accept requests to leave the tail intact on an individual puppy because tail docking takes place at approximately 1–3 days old, long before a puppy's personality and temperament can be evaluated. Leaving a specific puppy's tail intact would require that puppy to be selected almost immediately after birth based primarily on gender and coloring. This conflicts with our philosophy that temperament, personality, and compatibility should come before appearance when matching a puppy with their future family.

For this reason, the decision regarding tail docking is made for the entire litter rather than on a puppy-by-puppy basis.

We understand that circumstances can change unexpectedly, even years after bringing your puppy home.

All That Auss retains first right of refusal on every puppy we place. If at any point in your dog's life you are no longer able to care for them, we ask that you contact us before attempting to rehome, surrender, or place them elsewhere.

This is extremely important to us because we never want an All That Auss dog to end up in a shelter or rescue, and we want to remain a resource for our puppies and their families throughout their entire lives.

An All That Auss dog will always have a place with us—no matter their age or circumstances.

Adopting a Dog from All That Auss Mini Aussies

When adopting a dog from All That Auss Mini Aussies our first priority is matching the right home with the right dog. In order to do so, we ask you to complete an Adoption Application (linked here and below) so we have a better sense of what you have planned for the dog, your lifestyle, experience with Aussies, etc. Once your application is reviewed, a phone interview will be set up. Once we have conducted the phone interview and we believe you are the right fit, we will notify you to set up an in-person meeting with the dog.
